“I think that experiential learning is imperative, so working with Fox Sports — who will actually use our campaign and our work — was an amazing opportunity. We are harnessing real-time results and feedback, and it’s motivating to know that our work will be utilized on a major platform.”

“Our group really took a risk with our proposal and pushed our creative potential, so it is rewarding to know that Fox Sports appreciated our hard work and sees its viability.”

“I’ve never had the chance to develop a year-long campaign, especially on Instagram, so I could not have asked for a better opportunity to build my skill set and apply my public relations knowledge to a real-world project.”

“Working side by side with the Fox Sports U team was the best experience a student could ask for. They treated us like professionals, and I felt like our work was really appreciated.”

“This project was the perfect example of collaboration and hands-on client experience. Being able to point to specific research, insights, solved problems, and a complete campaign is invaluable during an interview process.”

“Fox Sports U gave us the unique opportunity to stretch our thinking both creatively and analytically. I’ve never been prouder of a project I’ve worked on because I had so much fun working with my team and coming up with the “Big Idea.” This was by far my favorite project I’ve worked on during my four years at UNC. Thank you, Fox Sports U!”

“FOX Sports U gave me the opportunity to create a comprehensive plan for a major organization, vastly improving my abilities and expanding my interests. I wish everyone could have such an opportunity in college.”

“Working on this campaign helped me become a much stronger PR practitioner while working with a strong group to create something that I am incredibly proud of. I can’t wait to see our plan put into action, knowing that I helped create it.”

“One of the most remarkable parts of this experience was having FSS executives actually come to us to introduce the challenge, check up on us, and see our presentations. They were truly interested in the process and in the work we produced. It was great to know that while we had this amazing opportunity, we were creating something that FSS was truly invested in.”
