Fall 2019 Winners
Kevin Xue is a senior at New York University studying Sport Management. Kevin grew up in China and came to the United States for high school. Kevin will continue his education after graduation by pursuing a master degree in business. Kevin’s career interests are related to sports marketing, and he has a passion for ice hockey. He would like to help the NHL further promote the game to places where hockey is not a traditionally popular sport. Others than sports, Kevin is also passionate about traveling and visual arts.

Jarrell is a senior studying Sports Management with a concentration in Sports Media and a minor in Media, Culture, and Communication. After graduation Jarrell hopes to pursue a career is sports marketing for a sports network, sports organization, or sports agency. He is extremely interested in working with all sports, especially the NBA and NFL.

Chris is studying at New York University and plans to graduate at the end of 2020. Chris is majoring in Sports Management with a concentration in Sports Media and a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. Chris has spent his undergraduate career thus far as a Research Assistant on multiple studies concerning sport consumption and has interned and consulted at sports and entertainment media entities. After completing his undergraduate studies, Chris plans to attend graduate school to deepen his knowledge base and expand his network in the sports and entertainment industries.

Fall 2019 Project Description
Students at the Tisch Institute for Sports Management, Media, and Business were tasked to develop a strategic campaign that Fox Sports and the WWE can utilize together to promote the beginning of their five-year agreement and drive tune-in to the SmackDown Live studio show on FOX and additional digital programming.
