“This project allowed to me to utilize lessons I’ve learned in class and use them in a practical, real-world setting.”

“Being able to work and collaborate directly with FOX Sports was a great experienced that allowed me to apply my skills and continue to prepare myself directly for the industry.”

“The real world experience I gained from the collaboration of IU and FOX Sports is something that I will value for the rest of my career. It is hard to find another program that listens to students, considers their ideas and invests in their experiences like FOX Sports U does.”

“I enjoyed the project because it related directly to my interests and it was fun, engaging and innovative. We started from scratch and seeing the final project and presentation come together at the end was very rewarding after a semester of hard work.”

“As a college senior, creating a promotional contest as a class project for a sports organization like the MLB was both challenging and rewarding. It was also really cool simply as a fan of baseball and all things sports to see our idea develop into a winning contest. “

“Working on the 2016 MLB All-Star Game project combined my love of baseball and social media into one project and it was an experience I will never forget.”

“I think the best part about this project was that FOX Sports let us use our imagination and come up with ideas that many people would shut down in a minute. They were very open about what they wanted, but they also listened to the ideas we had and helped us develop those ideas into a competition that could actually work in the real world.”

“Working on this project for FOX Sports U really showed me what it takes to work for a company such as FOX Sports. There is a lot of behind the scenes work that you don’t get to see, and I think it’s important for college students preparing for the real world to see all aspects of the professional sports world.”
