FOX Sports Arizona challenged students at ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication to develop marketing campaigns for FOX Sports Arizona’s coverage of the Phoenix Coyotes. The main objectives included increased viewership and improved awareness to ultimately create a greater buzz and interest in the team.
In Spring 2011, ASU students teamed up with FOX Sports Arizona to celebrate Coyotes Hockey with their campaign, “Pledge to the Pack.”
