The FOX Sports Carolinas Branding Campaign: Two UNC advertising classes developed and presented a branding campaign for FOX Sports Carolinas. Eight teams developed pitches that included creative concepts for TV, outdoor, radio, as well as grassroots web and social media applications. The winning campaign had the opportunity to work with industry professionals in executing the final product.

The Charlotte Bobcats/FOX Sports Carolinas Research Project & Marketing Campaign: Covering two semesters, this project incorporated student findings in consumer trends related to the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats fan experience. An integrated marketing communications (IMC) class then developed multiple off-channel marketing concepts to build brand recognition, drive ticket sales, and spur viewership of Bobcats telecasts on FOX Sports Carolinas.

UNC students worked with FOX Sports Carolinas on its branding campaign, devising an innovative “Destination Carolinas” execution.
