FOX Sports U kicked off its partnership with the Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business in the spring of 2012. Students were challenged to develop marketing campaigns that promote the Dallas Stars’ hockey telecasts on FOX Sports Southwest. Students also worked on how to engage fans and enhance the enthusiasm for Stars hockey among Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana sports fans.

FOX Sports Southwest and SMU students paired up to promote Dallas Stars hockey with the “It's Not the Game You Think” campaign.
