The students at Arizona State University’s Walker Cronkite School of Journalism teamed up with FOXSports.com for their first national campaign. The property, Scout.com, was rebranded as FOX Sports NEXT and focuses on high school and college sports. Students focused on increasing brand awareness and subscriptions with an eye on both the national and local market. Campaigns were comprehensive, including elements from social media, TV, out of home and digital marketing initiatives to target both insiders and fans. The winning campaign launched in late 2012 and continued in 2013.
