Fall 2016 Winners - Rutgers Winning Team

Vanessa Martinez

Vanessa Martinez

Vanessa Martinez graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Communications and minor in Environmental and Business Economics. She is currently pursuing an MBA at Rutgers Business School with concentrations in Marketing, and Marketing Research and Insight Analytics. After graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree, Vanessa’s close friend suggested she set herself with the goal of visiting ten countries in ten years. She visited France, Italy, Netherlands, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Haiti, Mexico, Cambodia, Philippines, and Belize in three years. Now, she continues her wish to learn foreign cultures, at least one country each year. Vanessa’s appreciation for the intersection of art and psychology within the systematic nature of marketing is what drives her interest in formulating and developing ideas that furthers our understanding of human nature and behavior.

This kind of project is where I thought I wanted to take my career after graduation – now I am certain it is!

Having the opportunity to work on such an immersive and extensive project is a much needed experience.

Thank you Fox Sports for this amazing opportunity and all your feedback and responses throughout the way.

To be able to get real life insights from the FS1 executives was an invaluable experience for a business student.”

My favorite part of the project was being able to use market research to develop creative solutions to the problem posed by FS1.

Working collaboratively on the project has taught me how to value others ideas and incorporate with them with my own in order to reach a common goal

Fall 2016 Project Description
