Mary Dohle

Mary Dohle recently graduated from Missouri with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a minor in Business. She currently serves as an account coordinator intern at an advertising agency in her hometown of St. Louis.

“Developing a strategic campaign for FOX Sports Midwest was the highlight of my college career. Not only was the experience unique and memorable, but it also provided me with hands-on experience that cannot be learned from a textbook.”

Allision MacFarland

In May of 2012 Allison graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communications. After graduating she will be working as a junior art director at Brighton Agency in St. Louis, Missouri where she will use her talents in fine arts and math. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Allison is a huge fan of her St. Louis pro teams.

“Having [FOX Sports] University as my capstone client was the best and most rewarding experience of my college career. I could not have been any happier with any other client and enjoyed devoting the last three months of my life to this project because it was just so exciting.”

 

Caitlin Hendricks

Caitlin Hendricks

Caitlin Hendricks is a recent grad from the University of Missouri. She is originally from Chicago and has four brothers. She is an avid fan of every Chicago sports team and would do anything to get the chance to meet Michael Jordan.

Mary Bonnette

In May, Mary graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication, with minors in Business and Political Science. In the fall, she will return to Mizzou to pursue a Master’s in Strategic Communication. Upon completing this degree, she hopes to work in public relations or marketing.

Kendra Kline

Kendra Kline graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Missouri School of Journalism in May 2012.  As a Strategic Communications major, Kendra aspires to be an advertising account executive.  She currently resides in West Des Moines, Iowa and enjoys running and playing tennis.

Kaleigh Glaza

Kaleigh Glaza

Kaleigh Glaza hails from a suburb just outside Chicago and loves all things about her Windy City – deep dish pizza, Lake Michigan beach days and of course, the Cubs.  Still, Kaleigh could not be more happy with her decision to head south to Missouri, where she graduated with a major in Journalism, minors in Spanish and Textile & Apparel Management, and a Multicultural Certificate. After graduation Kaleigh will return to Chicago to work in the ad world.

Spring 2012 Project Description

FOX Sports U students at the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism were tasked with developing marketing campaigns for the St. Louis Blues’ hockey telecasts on FOX Sports Midwest. A secondary, but integrated goal included to enhance the enthusiasm for Blues hockey among St. Louis, Missouri and Illinois sports fans.

Scott Fuenfhausen

Scott Fuenfhausen

Scott Fuenfhausen, BJ ’86, is an instructor for AdZou, the strategic communication capstone course. Before coming to Columbia, Fuenfhausen worked in advertising on the client side for a Fortune 500 business-to-business company in St. Louis. After five years, Fuenfhausen moved into the agency side of the industry and worked in account services for advertising agencies in St. Louis and Chicago for the next 12 years. His work included numerous consumer as well as industrial accounts including: Hostess, Wonder Bread, Char-Broil grills, Texas Boot Company, Schlage, Behr Paint and American Trans Air. Fuenfhausen received his MBA from Fontbonne University in St. Louis and his teaching certification from Avila University in Kansas City.
